Explore the Program
Area23lab Accelerate AI program is a 6-month program, to accelerate growing and scaling AI startups offering intelligent solutions and applications in the supply chain industry. Through tailored, streamlined support, participating ventures will accelerate their development and commercialization journeys, receiving support in four key areas:
- Attracting and retaining talent
- Customer acquisition
- Access to capital
- Technology development
Based in the Princeton vicinity, New Jersey’s second-largest tech cluster, Accelerate AI leverages the region’s existing strengths and expertise to further expand New Jersey’s AI leadership.

- Access to personalized support from the Capital Investment Program team of advisors to help support through the fundraising process

- Free access to AREA 23 LABS Innovation Space, including Data Center, Hardware and MedTech Labs, as well as the meeting spaces and shared offices/coworking, meeting rooms, complete with soundproof phone booths for concentrated work and collaboration zones for group dynamics
- Personalized and promotional videos & articles tailored to each company to be shared on multiple channels
- Demo Days: the chance to gain visibility and demo products to a wide audience
- Access to AREA 23 LABS network of over 60 AREA 23 LABS partners including AWS, Siemens, Keysight, Dell, MicroArt, and many more
Eligibility
- The Venture must be Incorporated, based and operating in New Jersey
- Focused on applied AI and intelligent supply chain products and/or services
- Less than two years old
- Employing fewer than 500 globally (including its affiliates)
- Venture must be at the validation stage, have developed a minimum viable product (MVP)
- Is at the efficiency stage, experiencing initial traction in a receptive-enough market to build a business in
- Able to demonstrate evidence that their technology solves a real problem for an identified market
- Venture must fall under one of the industry sectors and supply chain categories outlined in the application form
APPLICATION PROCESS
- Step 1: Fill out the Expression of Interest Form
- Step 2: Our Program Manager, Accelerate AI will contact you to schedule a review call to discuss the opportunity and better assess fit for the program
- Step 3: After initial evaluation, companies will be invited to complete the Accelerate AI Application Form for submission
- Step 4: All applicants are subject to review and approval by Scale AI. Rolling reviews will take place throughout the application period

Apply to work with AREA 23 LABS by filling in the form on our Apply page. Each year, we select over 100 ventures to join our diverse hub of founders. By working with AREA 23 LABS, you’ll gain access to our initiatives focused on four pillars critical for any scaling company: raising capital, talent retention, commercializing technology and IP, and customer acquisition.
We take no equity in your company. Founders join small cohort sizes — meaning you get tailored, dedicated guidance to navigate your unique business challenges. You’ll develop relationships in a growing global community of mentors, investors, partners, manufacturers, supply chains, and fellow entrepreneurs, critical to the growth and scaling of your business.
